Local Kwaito Kwasa power house, Vee Mampeezy, has added bottled water to his investment portfolio. The name of the brand, Maveeta, pays homage to the artist’s iconic stage name. The ‘Monwana’ hit maker took to social media, early February, to announce his new baby.
Vee’s latest business venture comes at a time when the local entertainment industry has been decimated by the effects of the Covid 19 pandemic; hence the need to diversify one’s income. To promote ‘Maveeta’, Mampeezy challenged his over half a million social media followers to pose with the bottled water brand as a show of support. The challenge caught the attention of Mampeezy’s fans from across the country, including celebrities and fellow musicians.
To keep Maveeta flowing throughout the country, Mampeezy has inked distribution deals with Choppies and Liquarama, in order to take advantage of their national reach.
